The Algonquin College ECE program has an articulation agreement with Ottawa University's Primary/Junior Education program whereby the university has designated ten seats in the program for Algonquin ECE graduates who have their university degree (with the grade point average required for teachers' college).

The E.C.E. Intensive Program is currently not available through continuing education.
