The Financial Aid staff are available to answer your questions, to guide you with applications and forms, to provide information about assistance programs and to listen to your concerns about financing your education. 

Financial Aid administers federal and provincial student loan programs, scholarships and bursaries; general and program-related bursary funding from money donated by the College, individuals, companies and other organizations.

This multi-leveled program allows Foreign Trained Nurses to challenge the course content in one of three Health Care programs related to nursing practice:

  • Personal Support Worker
  • Practical Nurse
  • Baccalaureate in Nursing
Once successful the Nurse will obtain the corresponding certificate, diploma or degree.  Those interested are encouraged to contact the program coordinator.

The Registrar’s Office is here to help you from the time you apply for admission through your graduation and beyond.  Some of the more popular services include; admissions, registration, transcript request, collection of fees, parking and locker sales. 

The Contact Centre (phone service) and the Service Counter (in-person service) of the Registrar’s Office often function as the first point of contact that students have with Algonquin College; the staff is highly skilled at connecting you with the correct person to answer your question even if you are not sure whom you should be speaking with.

Ontario College Application Services (OCAS)

The Ontario College Application Services (OCAS) provides administrative systems and application processing services for Ontario′s 24 colleges, three regional campuses of the University of Guelph and the Michener Institute for Applied Health Sciences. 

More than 95% of all Ontario College applicants each year will use the electronic application form hosted on this site to make their application.
