Local Hyundai Dealers Donate $50,000 to the
Algonquin College Foundation

On June 12, 2006, two Ottawa-area Hyundai dealers helped to address the current skilled-trades shortage in the automotive industry through a donation to the Algonquin College Foundation’s Transportation Technology Centre Campaign. Donations from West Ottawa Hyundai and Pathway Hyundai, totaling $50,000, will go towards the College’s $6.8 million state-of-the-art transportation facility built for students studying in the Motive Power Technician program and the automotive apprenticeship programs.
