Local MP Speaks at Girls’ Television and New Media Camp 
Gala Screening

July 14, 2006 - John Baird, MP, Ottawa West-Nepean, was on the Woodroffe Campus on Friday, July 14, to speak at the gala screening of the Women in Media Foundation Inc. (WIMF) Girls’ Television and New Media Camp.  For the second year in a row, the WIMF joined with Algonquin College to utilize Algonquin's state-of-the-art facilities and equipment.  The camp is offered to 10 girls between the ages of 12-15 from culturally and economically diverse backgrounds.  More...
