Students integrate theory and practice
in the spacious floral design lab. The lab has a staged
demonstration area with overhead mirrors and 2 live
video cameras with large display monitors for close
up views. |

| In the flower shop, students gain on the
job experience sharing their knowledge, skills, and professionalism
with the staff and student population. |

The florist program attracts a wide array
of students. The students are encouraged to interact
and share in group activities. This helps to encourage
a learning environment that will inspire creativity.
Students entering the program come from the Ottawa Valley,
all of Ontario, coast to coast across Canada, and also
includes international students.
