“One room, two looks” was collaboration between The Ottawa Citizen, Rogers Cable TV and Algonquin College Interior Decorating Students. The project was designed to show how the same room could be accessorized to look very different using the exact same furniture. Tamarack Homes supplied two similar models home master Bedrooms and Sears Home provided the two sets of matching Bedroom furniture for the rooms. The students were divided into two teams of five and they worked together to achieve two completely different looks. Accessories were borrowed from a variety of suppliers to create the two unique rooms. Rogers Cable filmed the students in action and produced a show highlighting the two day transformation. The Ottawa Citizen also photographed and produced a four page colour spread in the Saturday Homes section featuring this story.
