This one-year certificate program prepares the participant to be a flexible, organized care provider who can function in a long-term care facility, as well as, in a variety of community settings. As a care provider, support would be given to a variety of age groups according to individual needs. Through theory, lab practice, and clinical/community experience, this program directs participants to deliver care and supportive skills in personal care, home management, social, and recreational activities.
