STEP WORKSHOPS

The STEP workshops are designed to assist entry and integration into the Canadian workforce by providing training in job preparation. workshops are FREE.

Bridging Programs at Algonquin College

Bridging programs are designed to help internationally trained individuals meet registration or certification requirements in specific regulated occupations.  Through upgrading programs, preparation courses for certification exams, and specific forms of training, these programs enable immigrants to transition more quickly into the Canadian labour market.

International Finance and Administration Professionals (IFAP)

Foreign Trained Nursing

Are you a foreign trained nurse?  This program will help you meet professional educational requirements under the College of Nurses of Ontario so that you can practice in the health care sector in Ontario. Choose from 3 options: Personal Support Worker, Practical Nurse and Baccalaureate in Nursing.
