The GED Preparation course provides a framework that allows you to determine which subject areas require study and an instructor who prepares you to write the GED test. It is an international high school testing program for adults who have not been able to complete high school.

The student must be 19 years of age or older, a resident of Ontario and have an appropriate reading level. |
|
The GED tests cover five subject areas: writing, science, social studies mathematics, and literature and the arts. |
|
Completion of the GED may lead to a job, a promotion, educational opportunities, and greater confidence and self-esteem. The testing requires 7.5 hours long and is administered over two days. |
|
The GED tests are administered by the Ministry of Education and Training. Participants must register for the test directly with MET and, if successful, will receive an Ontario High
School Equivalency Certificate . |

| Fees |
Tuition fee: $452.76
There is a $80.00 fee to write the tests with the Ministry of Education.
