Course Description

Canada is now a front-runner in the music industry. Students are exposed to the history and folklores linked to the
establishment of its music industry. Canadian musical artists are studied and focus is placed on the development of
distinctive Canadian industry innovations on the music industry globally. Visits from leading Canadian artists as
guest speakers enhance the learning experience.
Course selection points to consider: 40% of final mark in this course will be based on both participation and presentations.
