Lean LaunchPad

IS THERE A BUSINESS IN YOUR IDEA?

Rocket lift idea

Lean LaunchPadwill help you figure it out!

Do you have an idea that you think has the potential to be a business….if so, the Lean LaunchPad is the program for you.

Brought to you by Algonquin College’s Applied Research department, in conjunction with the IgniteAC Centre, Lean LaunchPad is the world’s premier pre-accelerator program, taught at over 200 universities worldwide. Using a Business Model Canvas to brainstorm each part of your company and Customer Discovery to get you out of the classroom, you will learn if your idea has what it takes to succeed.

The 10-week program, held every Wednesday beginning February 15th to April 19th, 2017, uses video modules, experiential learning (projects and discussions rather than lectures) and gets you ‘out of the building’ to gather customer feedback so you can validate your idea.

In-class discussions will be guided by our Visiting Entrepreneur Lee Silverstone – co-founder of Gymtrack, Silicon Valley accelerator (500 Start-Ups) attendee and recipient of several million dollars of investment.

Eligibility and Cost:

FREE to any AC student, faculty, staff or alumni with an idea they would like to validate. Limited seats available. APPLY EARLY.
