The Office looks forward to new opportunities for applied research in the fields of digital media, health care, training, alternate energy sources, clean technologies, and teaching and learning Who Helps Fund the Projects? The Office is fortunate to be able to access many types of federal, provincial and community funding. Among many sponsors are the Ontario Research Fund, the Ontario Centres of Excellence, FedDev Ontario , the Natural Science and Engineering Research Council, the Social Science and Humanities Research Centre, the Canadian Institute of Health Research, the Canada Foundation for Innovation and the College Ontario Network for Industry Innovation. In the private sector we have worked with various business partners including Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario(CHEO), Hydro Ottawa, Farm Boy, Siemens Canada Limited, Transport Canada, Pembroke Ministry of Natural Resources (MNR), Ecovu, NOMADiQ Shelter Solutions Inc and so on.
