Blackboard Course Templates

Your new semester courses include by default only the “Home Page” button. Rather than build your Blackboard course from scratch, it is now possible to import a Blackboard course template. You may choose to import a simple one that you can download below or a more complex template used and provided by your department.

Read the instructions, download the zip file that contains the course template, and then find out what content you should load under each course menu button in your Blackboard course:

Note: If you would like to create a course template specific to your department/school, please ask us (bbhelp@algonquincollege.com) to create an empty shell for you. Once you design it accordingly to your department/school needs, we will export it to a zip file and make it available for download to other instructors from this page.
