Lana has the good fortune of being able to volunteer in Perth in many ways.  In her final year on the Algonquin College Board of Governors, she will chair the local fundraising campaign for the new Algonquin College campus main building to be built in Perth, and will continue to serve on the Board's Governance Committee.

As past chair of the Great War Memorial Hospital Foundation, she will continue in the role of director for two more years. Lana will begin her provincial appointment as a member of the Perth Police Services Board in September.  In addition, she will continue to be a member of the Youth Board and other Town of Perth committees.  Lana's interest in her community stems from her years as a teacher in Perth and member of Perth Town in Council, including being a former mayor of Perth.
