Randy Williams

Randy Williams is a tourism industry professional with over 35 years of travel and tourism experience, including hotel management, human resource development, education, tourism planning, destination marketing, and advocacy and lobbying that has given him a thorough understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing tourism in Canada.

When Canada's first provincial marketing organization looked to a unique public/private sector partnership model, he was appointed its first President and CEO; he subsequently led the Association of Canadian Travel Agencies.

Since January 2002, his leadership has transformed the Tourism Industry Association of Canada into a relevant and highly respected organization that has achieved many successes on the industry’s behalf. Mr. Williams was appointed to the Board of Governors in September 2006.
