Yusuf Khan is a third year student in the Mechanical Engineering Technology Program at the College, and has been elected as student representative to the Board of Governors.  He has been actively involved in student affairs, acting as program chair secretary at program council meetings, class representative, and student ambassador with the College.

Mr. Khan is a member of OACETT (Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists) as well as a volunteer for Engineers Without Borders.  He also has experience working in the public sector for the past three years as a junior competition law officer with the Competition Bureau of Canada, and is committed to devoting the energy, enthusiasm, and time needed to represent students’ interests at the college.

Mr. Khan was elected by the students of Algonquin College to represent them on the Board of Governors for a one year term beginning in September 2009.
