The Honourable John Baird, officially launched the Green Business Management Program during Canadian Environment Week, on Monday, June 2,

The first ever Green Business Management Graduate Certificate, created by Professor's Adrienne Armstrong and Sandy Stewart, was developed to provide green business management training to lead businesses and society in sustainable business practices and achieve the new triple bottom line:

People, Planet and Profit

 

Program delivery: The courses for this program are offered two days a week: Wednesdays 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturdays 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

This course schedule may facilitate the participation of those prospective students who are in the workforce.

This program will provide you with the expertise to meet the demands of
  • Increased manufacturing and consumer focus on alternative technologies, global market sustainability.
  • Renewable energy resources, eco-tourism, green hospitality movement, greening of homes and cities.
  • Federal government requirements for environmental sustainability, to name a few, all translate into expanding labour market opportunities, domestic and global.
