Student Success Specialists provide support and resources to help students achieve their academic and personal goals. We work closely with coordinators, faculty and Student Services to help students have a positive and fulfilling learning experience.

How we help

Provide guidance for students with registration, timetable changes, course drop/add, program transfers, overall student issues.

Assist students in adapting to college life.

Help students access appropriate college resources and services.

Peer Tutoring

Get a Tutor and Succeed!
This service is designed to help students who are experiencing difficulties in certain courses. Students are matched with trained senior students for one-to-one tutoring.

Study Workshops

Throughout the academic year, Counselling Services offers seminars and workshops in various areas of study skills.

Time Management
Effective Reading
Taking Notes
Preparing for Exams etc.

Student Support Lab

This is a place where you can come for support in English, Math, Computer skills and learning strategies. It is a quiet area where students can come to work either one on one or in a small group with a Student Support Lab member. Together you create a learning plan in areas you wish to improve or get support with new learning strategies.
