The Transition Support Centre is pleased to offer the following supports to faculty members and staff of Algonquin College who wish to develop their capacity to support students with autism.
Workshops
Topics covered in workshops include information about autism (strengths and challenges commonly experienced by students), best practices for supporting students on the spectrum (teaching and learning strategies), case studies, and opportunities for collaboration with colleagues.

One-on-One Consultations
Do you wish to meet with a TSC staff member to discuss strategies to best support your students with autism? TSC staff can arrange individual meetings with interested faculty members to discuss specific approaches for providing support to students with autism in their learning environment.

Resource Library
The TSC is home to over 100 books and videos about Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Come borrow an item to learn about basic and advanced topics that relate to autism and enjoy popular media depicting individuals with autism. Key titles include:
