Location
The Transition Support Centre (TSC) is located in Room E345 (3rd Floor, E Building).
Appointments
If you require support or have a specific concern, we encourage you to book an appointment with a TSC Disabilities Counselor or TSC Learning Strategist through the CAL Welcome Centre (613) 727-4723 Ext. 7200

TSC Drop-in Service
If you are a student registered with the TSC, you can drop in to receive support for a variety of needs, including:
- Problem-solving and communication support
- Disabilities counselling for accommodation-related needs
- Learning strategies support on assignments, tests and presentations
- Managing sensory needs and stress
- Accessing a safe space for 1:1 studying and support
The TSC Drop-In service is offered virtually and in-person:
- Virtual drop-in hours are scheduled individually through the CAL Welcome Centre or via email with a TSC Disabilities Counsellor and Learning Strategist.
- In-person (E345) drop-in hours are:

- Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 8:30 am – 12:00 pm
- Tuesday and Thursday from 1:00 – 4:30 pm

Informal Social Events and Workshops
The TSC offers informal social activities throughout the year. Socials offered by the TSC encourage students to establish and maintain social connections in a flexible, enjoyable atmosphere, tailored to their interests. If you are interested in learning about these events, email AC-TSC@algonquincollege.com for more information.
The TSC hosts a variety of workshops during the school year with a focus on skill building. Topics include: semester planning, mindful gaming, creative workshops, employment strategies, and resume and job fair preparation. The occurrence of these workshops depends on student interest. If you are registered with the TSC, you will receive emails about upcoming workshops.
