This course is part of the following part-time on campus and/or online program(s):

Students work towards mastering knowledge of American Sign Language to communicate with members of the Deaf Community. Topics comprise of the development of language skills, such as narrative skills moving from an informal to a more formal presentation and conversational skills used in everyday discussion to illustrate how things work and why things are the way they are. Learning activities include games and exercises with the instructor and other students and completion of home study activities.
