Strong reading and writing skills are necessary for academic and workplace success. Students increase reading comprehension skills through a variety of assignments. In addition, students plan, write, edit and proofread paragraphs and essays. Grammar, sentence variety, coherence and critical thinking skills are the focus as students revise and edit writing assignments. Feedback from teachers enhances student writing skills throughout the writing process.
