Crisis Intervention

Course: PSY1724

Crisis is the turning point in one's life where intervention is often sought. Students are familiarized with crisis theory, crisis intervention models, specific types of crises and local community crisis centres and resources. Students also learn about their role and responsibilities in crisis situations, as well as develop skills enabling them to work with people in crisis.
