Critical Care Cardiac Management

Nurses conduct a thorough physical and psychosocial assessment based on patients' condition. Nurses use critical thinking and comprehensive skills in assessment, decision making and implementing interventions for the cardiovascular client. Nurses learn to systematically analyze and interpret cardiac dysrhythmias and focus on the latest ACLS guidelines in research and management in advanced cardiac management. Case studies and assignments focus on predicting early deterioration and preparing for emergencies such as cardiac arrest in critical care settings.
