Dewey Decimal Classification

Course: LIB2032

Classification provides access to the collection of the library through shelving the physical material by subject as indicated by the call number of the individual item. Students apply the theoretical framework used by the Dewey Decimal Classification scheme. Through practical exercises, students apply international standards and explore ways to incorporate future developments and trends in classification.
