Facials are beneficial for a variety of skin types and to target certain skin conditions and general vitality of the skin. Students learn the basics of performing a facial treatment and the importance of client consultation and skin analysis. Topics of study include room furnishings setup including products and supplies, client consultation techniques, safety, sanitization and sterilization procedures, proper use of equipment and appropriate products, anatomy and physiology of the skin including identification of common skin types, conditions and diseases, and how the body systems and general nutrition relate to the skin.

Facial Kits will be available for purchase through the Bookstore in August.
