This course is designed to help the learner examine how food and nutrition can help to achieve optimum health and well being. It also provides an opportunity for the learner to investigate nutritional care for seniors through an understanding of food service operations and the MOH dietary standards. In this course the learner experiences a combination of food preparation and service theory. The learner understands the importance of developing strong organizational, team building and communication skills.
