This course looks at the forces of globalization in the field of logistics. Students will explore the strategic framework of transporting goods across international boundaries, research on the evolving concepts of the international supply chain network and calculate the risks involved with global operations, specifically towards the transportation and distribution industry. The course involves research into shipping goods to an international destination and mapping out performance measures towards the best method for the shipment of these goods.
