Revit I

Course: CAD8104

Revit Architecture is a powerful building information modeling software for architects, engineers, designers and contractors. This course guides students through introductory commands of Revit Architecture in order to produce working and presentation drawings. Students learn basic element creation, use modification tools, import and export files and import Revit family files. Wall, floor and roof creation tools and camera views are set up to create presentation sheets of the designs. Students create a simple set of basic drawings and produce 3D models of a house and commercial building. Reflecting industry standards, students develop and utilize time management skills and attention to detail in order to complete all assignments. Curriculum topics are consistent with most skills outlined in Autodesk's Revit Architecture Certified User and Certified Professional criteria.

This course is being offered remotely through Zoom. Students are required to download their education copy of the most current version of REVIT. Please ensure minimum system requirements, available at autodesk.com
