Lean Principles I

Course: MGT6073

The primary objective of Lean is to create flow by eliminating non-value added work from an organization's processes. Students differentiate between value-added and non-value added work, to correctly map the value stream. Through the use of case studies, in-class instruction and group work, students identify and employ principles, tools, and techniques to make the value stream more efficient and productive.
