Course: EDU2008

This course is part of the following part-time on campus and/or online program(s):

Educational technologies have extensive capabilities which are constantly being upgraded. New technologies quickly replace existing ones. Ascertaining the best ways to use technologies initially, and then as they undergo improvements and changes, requires staying in touch with their creators or suppliers and with experienced users. Learners monitor changes in end-user technology application and learn to anticipate common pitfalls. Learners also evaluate best practices for educational technologies including crowd-sourcing and social curation of learning objects. Through communities of practice, learners evaluate existing educational technology usage and change to effectively manage educational technology resources.
