Oracle Database 11g: Administration Workshop I
This course is part of the following part-time on campus and/or online program(s):
Students develop a firm foundation in basic administration of Oracle Database 11g. They learn how to install and maintain Oracle Database 11g and gain a conceptual understanding of the Oracle database architecture and how its components work and interact with one another. Students also learn how to create an operational database and properly manage the various structures in an effective and efficient manner including performance monitoring, database security, user management and backup/recovery techniques. The lesson topics are reinforced with structured hands-on practice.
Textbooks are included in the tuition price and will be sent to students before the first class.
Applicants must have post secondary education or equivalent work experience and fundamental skills to navigate comfortably through a computing environment. Students will be expected to use command line interface in this program.
