Ottawa Valley Ecology Excursions Series - Spring Awakens

Course: GEN7260

In early spring, frogs and salamanders lay their eggs in woodland pools. Singing songbirds fill the tree tops. Wildflowers carpet the forest floor. Baby animals are exploring their environments for the first time. Springtime is a very busy time indeed! Through a series of educational excursions into local natural areas you experience firsthand the patterns of nature in spring while developing naturalist skills such as plant and animal identification, animal tracking, and weather forecasting skills to vastly increase your awareness of the natural world.
