Perinatal Nursing Practicum II

Course: NSG0118

Application of principles and concepts acquired during the program is integral to career success in perinatal nursing. Through interprofessional collaboration and the use of the nursing process, including assessment and intervention, students participate in complex nursing care. Focusing on preceptored experiential learning in a clinical setting, students apply classroom theory and skills while delivering a high level of care to clients and family in the perinatal environment. Clinical settings may include community and hospital in-patient and ambulatory-care.
