Preparing the Business Case
This course is part of the following part-time on campus and/or online program(s):
Business analysts work across all levels of an organization to identify problems, set goals and define strategy, to support continuous improvement in a business' technology and processes infrastructure. Students learn how to assess proposed solutions, work with the stakeholders to triage the options and select the optimal solution that best fits the technical requirements. Emphasis is placed on differentiating between value-added components when defining stakeholder's expectations. Through the preparation of a business case, students gain experience with assessing proposed solutions, allocating and defining transition requirements and validating solutions.
