This course is part of the following part-time on campus and/or online program(s):
Participants are introduced to the terms, concepts and principles of Quality. As well, they are introduced to the tools and methodologies involved in improving the quality of products, services and processes within an organization. The course touches on the Quality Improvement Associate designation by the American Society for Quality (ASQ). Quality standards within Services, Manufacturing, Government and Not-for-Profit organizations are discussed with concentration on simple but effective tools that are readily applied in the workplace.
