QuickBooks Level II

Course: ACC2300

This course continues building on the skills and knowledge learned in the Level 1 course for Quickbooks (desktop version). It covers topics such as the use of items and lists in QuickBooks, inventory management and transaction processing, general journal entries, sales tax and payroll. It also introduces the set up of a new company file in QuickBooks, user permissions and management as well as updating QuickBooks and the use of custom fields and how to customize templates.

Notes

ACC2300 (QuickBooks Level II) is equivalent to ACC2384 (Microcomputer Applications in Accounting). Students taking ACC2300 in place of ACC2384 do not require the prerequisite course ACC0004 (QuickBooks Level I).

Required Software

Quickbooks 2016 student version required. Instructions to request one year student version will be available within the course. Students cannot use a MAC edition as it is not Canadian content. MS Windows required.
