Course: CAD8000

This course is part of the following part-time on campus and/or online program(s):

Take your design skills to the next level using Autodesk's Revit software. This course goes beyond basic commands to focus on creating architectural working drawings, photo-realistic scenes and animations. Students use Mass Modeling and Design Options to create presentation drawings and animations in commercial and residential applications. Worksets are also introduced to allow for team collaboration on working drawings.


Students are required to bring a USB memory stick to class (minimum 4GB).

Successful completion of CAD8104 - Introduction to Revit (or equivalent) is required, unless you have Coordinator approval.

As part of the tuition fee, students are given access to the AutoDesk website where they can download a 3-year student version of the required AutoCAD software and access current tutorials.
