Multiculturalism and Establishment in Canada

Course: HLT0225

Being provided with resources and tools to help transition into life in a different country supports students' ability to thrive academically. Through the lens of their own multicultural experiences, students examine their adjustments to living in Canada. Students examine the culture and daily life of Canadians to gain practical strategies for establishing themselves in their new community. Group discussions, presentations and community exploration provide students with the context and resources to adapt to their new roles and expectations in a Canadian post-secondary environment.
