Sexual Health and Development

Course: FAM1271

Sexuality is an integral part of the lives of child and youth care practitioners and the clients and families they serve. Students review information related to the social, emotional and physiological aspects of human sexuality, which affects children and youth. Students explore their values and attitudes about sexuality and practise becoming comfortable discussing this important subject. Students learn to identify issues and engage clients in healthy and positive discussions about sexuality.
