Sexual Issues

Sexuality is an integral part of the lives of child and youth workers and the clients and families they serve. Students review basic information related to human sexuality and learn about the social, emotional and physiological aspects of sexuality which affect clients. Students explore their values and attitudes about sexuality and practise becoming comfortable discussing this important subject. Students learn to recognize and engage clients in discussions related to various sexual issues.
