Course: EDU1000

This course is part of the following part-time on campus and/or online program(s):

Environmental curriculum is explored through a series of individual work sessions and collaborative discussions. Learning is applied by incorporating the values of environmental and sustainability education as they relate to specific fields of study. A comprehensive lesson plan and set of objectives is submitted by students for use in their practicum experience and they arrange for their practicum at an outdoor environmental education centre or in a classroom setting. Students work under the direction and supervision of a designated outdoor educator or teacher who observes, guides, advises and evaluates the learner's application of principles within the instructional setting.
