Taxation I

This course is part of the following part-time on campus and/or online program(s):

Students gain an understanding of the different types of taxation in Canada and the underlying objectives and principles of income taxation. They learn how to prepare a personal income tax return for various types of income, such as property and business income. Students also learn how to use income tax preparation software.

Notes

Winter 2017: Section 584 is a hybrid course (a combination of on campus and online).
Spring 2017: Section 583 is a hybrid course (a combination of on campus and online).

Required Software

MS Excel required (not included with course materials) and ProFile tax software (download instructions are included in the textbook)
