Use Case Modeling

Course: BUS6014

Use cases were originally conceived to help capture and organize requirements for software systems. Today use cases are also utilized as a business analysis technique. Such uses include business architecture analysis, solution scope in a feasibility study, business case or project charter, request for proposal responses, decisions on build-or-buy and configuration requirements for Commercial Off-The-Shelf software. Participants draw use case diagrams and write use cases at different audience-focused levels of detail. The evolution of use cases throughout the project life cycle are explored.
