Waxing is an efficient and very popular temporary hair removal technique and profitable esthetics service. Students learn about hair structure and growth, how to assess an individual's hair-removal needs, conduct a waxing consultation, and perform face and body hair-removal treatments in a sterilized environment. Students are introduced to hard and soft wax types and methods of temporary and permanent hair removal. The importance of client education, safety, proper hygiene and sterilization techniques are taught throughout the course.
