African Auditors take Forensic Accounting and Fraud Investigations Graduate Certificate

Forensic Accounting Students in Africa

Fourteen auditors from the Kenya National Audit Office, the Ghana Audit Service and the Tanzania National Audit Office are studying via Online Learning for certificates in Forensic Accounting and Fraud Investigations at Algonquin College.

Eight Tanzanian audit office staff and three from Ghana are now taking the introductory course. Leading by example, the Controller and Auditor General of Tanzania, is himself one of the students.

Wendy Bird finished her Project Management certificate in December 2009 and celebrated her achievement at Convocation on Friday, June 18, 2010.

One of the first graduates of the accelerated Project Management delivery, Wendy says, "I am most grateful that I took on this challenge and am even more grateful for the wealth of knowledge, new relationships, and gaining the instructor's vast experience.  I could not be more proud of myself and my peers for what we have achieved."
