SUMMIT 2016 — Student Entrepreneurs Wanted

ACblog_SummitSUMMIT, a summer intensive entrepreneurship program, offers students’ a hands-on experience in developing their Start-Up through business modelling, peer support and guidance from entrepreneurs. The program is back this summer and we’re looking for your help to assemble an amazing team of young entrepreneurs for our second year.

Our inaugural year was a great success, with 85% of our students moving past the Idea and Discovery phase to Validation and beyond, 90% adding to their teams, and 94% were selling or planning to be selling within a year of completing SUMMIT.

SUMMIT graduates walked away with new skills, an understanding what was required to be an entrepreneur, a supportive peer and mentor network, and a new found confidence in their abilities as entrepreneurs. This short video provides a peek inside the SUMMIT experience.

“I’ll be honest, they feel like family to me now. And the people that came during the nine weeks to teach us, I consider them mentors now. I know that I can always fall back on them if I have problems down the road.”

—Ethan Camarena, Summit Participation 2015
