Fall 2012 Co-op placements
September placements dates are September 10 - December 21st
First time employers can see resumes - May 25th
Jobs open to students for the first time - May 21st
To post jobs - No deadline for submitting postings - no ranking, no waiting.
Employers may post jobs at any time after the placement period commences. (Usually in the third week of the semester) Jobs are normally posted for 3-5 days and then employers will receive e-resumes shortly after the job closes.
After choosing candidates to be interviewed, contact the Co-op Office coop@algonquincollege.com and arrange an interview time. We will contact the candidates and schedule the interviews.
Continuous Co-op recruitment process
Students are currently viewing job postings for the Summer 2012 work term.
- Jobs are posted for 3 - 5 days
- Applicants resumes are sent to employers by email
- Employers identify and interview candidates of interest - interviews are typically held on-campus
- Employers advise Co-op office of selected candidates
- Students are given 48 hours to respond to job offers
