- Up to 2/3 of the cost to a maximum of $10,000 of training per employee is covered by the grant.
- $1000 extra if your participant was previously unemployed.
- If your organization has under 50 employees, the employer may be eligible to pay only 17% of the total training cost as they have the option to contribute up to 50% of their required contribution in wages paid to training participants.
- By bringing the trainer to the employer’s location, training is even more feasible since COJG does not cover the transportation cost for employees.
- 2 days is the average response time after submission of a completed application.
- Participants have a full calendar year to complete their training.
