*The term “ecology of learning” was coined by John Seeley Brown in a March, 2000, article in Change Magazine. It has since been widely adopted by corporate training theorists and practitioners. A White Paper entitled Learning and Performance Ecosystems – written by Marc Rosenberg and Steve Foreman for the eLearning Guild in 2014 – has been particularly influential.
